BEING BORN TWICE

I come from a land, where it is a common belief that an individual is born 7 times in various form of incarnations according to ones’ karma-(deeds)-and this includes the form of animals and plants-before, the un-destroyable soul finally is absorbed with the eternal power. And in due course of human history there were manifestations of deities, to destroy the evils and to save the good. People; universally have the quest to search for a life that is beyond suffering, a life full of bliss, hope, happiness and prosperity. There are innumerable formulas, physical subjugation to the so-called spiritual discipline, meditations and rituals men and women exercise to attain a superior and meaningful life! And humanity of this kind never found an answer for their quest. Their Spiritual experience is like of we renewing our Driving License or a work permit.

The Biblical notion of life is that “ …it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. (Heb.9:27) There are no multiple choices of births according to the creator God.

There are 2 very important verbs to which we draw our attention. The 1^st is Death. And this is because the wages of sin is death. Our forefather Adam violated the commandment of God and committed sin and earned death. And there are many aspects of death; death of the soul, death of the body and the second death taking us to the Hell fire.

The second verb is Judgment. Each one of us will be judged according to our deeds during our sojourn, during the course our life on earth. And all sinners, who rejected Christ and the new life He freely offers will finally be cast out to this outer darkness and hell fire. Therefore, we have no other choice but to seek and possess this free Offer and rather go to heaven and inherit the kingdom of God.

How to possess this free gift of life eternal? The Bible says,” For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that who so ever believeth in Him should perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world thorough him might be saved. (Jn.3: 16-17)

“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows…He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his strips we are healed. (Isa: 53:4-5)

We notice in these verses and many more verses that for man to attain the life of peace and prosperity with God and with fellow men were accomplished by God himself.

Now! Stop trying to work out your own ways to become good! The more you try to repair your life will lead you to more severe damages in your life like a spider web. We are like a rotten wound! The wound inside is full of rotten liquid. And the flesh burst opened and it smells. The perfect healing never came. We struggle in pain and seek various agents for a life in fullness. But that only leads to more sins.

Go to Him! Go to the Living God! Go to Christ! The giver of life. “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. (Jn.1: 4)

“ I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.(Jn.10:10)

Go to Jesus and tell Him that you are miserable because of Sins and it is a huge burden that you cannot carry it any more! And ask him to forgive you and re-construct your life. This is the first step of faith you take. You accept that you were wrong all these days and lived as you wanted and ruined your life. Start confessing to him, the things that are wrong in your life. Tell him that you are deeply sorry for them. Ask him to forgive them. And He will.

And then ask him to take control of your life! Let Him take the Driver’s seat in your life! And He will come into your life and will stay there eternally. This we call as new birth.

“But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believeth on his name.”(Jn.1: 12)

Scripturally, this is How children are born into His Kingdom. And some would tell you that the entire house that bears a cross is a Christian house. And every one who wears a cross are Christians. Or every one goes to church are Christians and every one born to Christian parent are Christians. And every one has a Christian name is a Christians. Oh! No it is an absolute lie.

Both God and his word are right or the above is right and God is lying! God forbid! Always God is right and His word is the truth.

My father worked as a clerk in an Office and my mother was a schoolteacher and we 4 kids were neither clerks nor teachers. If we had gone to the office and had demanded a salary, we would have been chased out.! Do not be deceived! This is exactly how the issue of Becoming a Christian Works.

In John chapter 3 we read of a head priest who came to Jesus in Night hours, with the same question. He was the head priest from a local Jewish Church.

Jn.3:3-“ Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man be born again, he can not see the kingdom of God.”

Jn.3:5: Verily, verily I say unto you, except a man be born of the Spirit, and of the water he can not enter into the kingdom of God.”

And Jesus further made it very plain, that X + Y Chromosome brings out a female kid and X + X-Chromosome Brings out a male kid. Any father ands mother and mother brings out natural kids but not Christians.

Jn. 1:”13 : The Children of God are not born of blood , nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, But of God.

Isaac, Prophet Samuel, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ were the historical example of this. God’s WORD, entered into them by the act of the Holy Spirit and the mothers conceived. GOD’S SEED DWELT IN THEM.

Are you born twice? Ever in life? Are you born of the Spirit, blood, word and water?

Let me take you to a very important mystery, you may not have noticed in the scripture. You turn with me to Luke. 3: 23

“ And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age being as was supposed the son of Joseph…”

Do you now under stand including Jesus, no one becomes sons of God by natural birth?

Now read with me in Luke 3: 21-22

Now when all people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved son; in thee I am well pleased”.

This statement was not made on the Christmas day! When Jesus was born as a baby! It was stated, when Jesus yielded to the truth of god and yielded to the demands of it and went to receive the Baptism.

If you are not born the 2^nd time yet! This is the right time! Receive Him and His commandment and give yourself to the Living God! And you will Be a well pleasing son and a daughter.

“Happiness is to know the savior,

Living a life with in His favor,

Having a change in my Behavior,

Happiness is the Lord!

Real Joy is mine, no matter if teardrops start,

I know the secret! It’s Jesus in my heart!!!
