Your Belief System Determines Your Income

Believe it or not, what you believe about money can either make or break your ability to earn a good income. Money is not the root of all evil. God wants us to prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil, IF you put money above God it becomes an idol.

We are all created equal, and even though some of us might come from poor circumstances, we do not have to stay in them. It's our "stinkin' thinkin" that holds us back from being all that God wants us to be. So it's very important that we look to the word of God and change our mindset to one that is in line with God's word.

Christ shed his blood and died and rose again to save us from sin. Through his bloodshed we are made perfect by believing in Him and doing His word. The former life we had is changed to a new life as joint heir to the Kingdom of God, so we are now princes and princesses and through Him we are now worthy of everything that God has for us. We no longer have to go around in sackcloth and ashes and beg for Him to have mercy on us. He's already paid the price for our redemption. And in Him we are now FREE! And through His stripes we WERE HEALED. Already, right now, and in the future. He took care of EVERYTHING when He died on the cross and rose again. When He said IT IS FINISHED, it WAS finished!

So toss out all those past feelings of unworthiness and guilt and shame for the things you've done in the past. When you became a Christian you were forgiven. Your sins are as far from you as the east is from the west never to be remembered any more. You are a brand new creature! And your heavenly Father wants you to prosper and be in health. He doesn't want you to remain poor, do without, or have to beg for bread. He will provide whatever you need as long as you will just ask, believing as if you've already received it.

Spend your time thinking about what it is you really want out of life. Is it more time? A healthier lifestyle? Freedom from debt?

Ask for it. Keep your mind on it and start building your treasure in heaven..where the moth doesn't corrupt. It will materialize for you in THIS LIFETIME and in the next.

Knock and door will open, seek and you shall find, ask and it will be given to you!

Sometimes it takes a little leap of faith on your part. You have to step out in faith like Peter stepped out of the boat onto the choppy sea, and Jesus was there to keep him up, but as soon as he took his eyes off of Jesus, he started to fall. His mind was wondering and He didn't keep his mind on Jesus so he started to sink down. You've got to take the first step, even if it costs you a little money, if you really want to succeed in life, you have to make some sacrifice. Give something up that you're paying a lot of money for to make way for a bigger blessing.

If you're on cable or dsl, switch to dialup for a little while. That will give you more investment money to work with. If you have a cell phone, cut back on the minutes a little and that will help you have more to work with. Cut back on your eating out and eat in for a change. Everything you do to have more money to work with will help you to achieve financial freedom.

And one more thing that will cause God to take notice is if you will take a part of your income and help someone else who needs the help. Research different charity programs and find one that you can help the most people with a donation. Missionaries can always use help spreading the word of God. Send them a donation regularly and help as many people as you can to have a good meal daily.
